Hyderabad - India

I just went to Hyderabad for business trip last month.
If you need some tips to go around in Hyderabad, I can share you some:
1. As other part of India, do not go by taxi. If you book a hotel, ask them to pick you up in the airport. My friend said, this city is better than Delhi. Delhi is one of city in India with highest crime level.
2. If your driver insist to take you to some shops (which they'll do), they are hoping to get some tips from the shop owner. So, you have to make sure you'll need something to buy and you have to bargain! otherwise you'll ended buying something you don't need with a very high price.
3. Always drink from packed water, and you cannot drink tap water in here.

Nice local restaurant:
1. BBQ Nation: my friend said, this is the best western restaurant in the city.
2. Ustad Banee Nawab: this is a local hyderabad restaurant, with their specialties in xx. I tasted it, it's quite nice with a sticky texture.. the taste just like porridge. They mixed lamb meat and flour to make this.

3. xx: This also one of the best local and oldest restaurant in the city. They have the best chicken tikka in the town (at least what i felt)! but be careful because I get stomachache. I didn't blaimed the restaurant, maybe at that moment my stomach is a bit sensitive.

Spots:
1. Chowmala Palace: A must go place! They have a very nice chandelier in the main palace.. when you go around inside the palace, suddenly you want to be one of the princess (or maybe the Queen)! I think this place is almost as beautiful as Taj Mahal (you can see my Taj Mahal post here).

2. Chandakar Gate: This gate located in a very crowded market. Sad to see that the old former royal building now is used for dirty market.. The government should've preserved it, because they also have a very pretty and big Mosque near the market. In the old pic, it looks very beautiful! You can go up to upstairs by paying Rs 100 for foreigner and Rs 5 for the local (if i'm not mistaken), and you have to pass a very tiny and circular stairs. Be careful, I won't recommend a person with claustrophobia go upstairs. and Be careful of the wild steel on the floor, my feet got 10cm scratch here, and it's awfully hurt.
